In spring 2006, Hubbard was appointed to the team for Sacramento State's recertification with the NCAA. As a member of the Steering Committee, Hubbard was a member of the Gender Equity and Student-Athlete Welfare sub-committee where she was responsible for development and evaluation of Sacramento State's 5-year Diversity Plan. Additionally, Hubbard routinely conducts presentations to high school students, parents and coaches about NCAA requirements to assist individuals in taking the next step. Hubbard is a member of the NCAA's Committee on Women's Athletics whose primary mission is to provide leadership and assistance to the membership of the NCAA in its efforts to provide equitable opportunities, fair treatment and respect for all women in all aspects of intercollegiate athletics. Hubbard is also a member of NACWAA (National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators) and a member of NACWAA's Membership Recruitment Committee. Hubbard earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology from Sacramento State in 1994 and her Masters degree in Sport Management from University of San Francisco in 2006. A self-proclaimed "baseball junkie" , Hubbard's hobbies include, golf, softball, traveling, watching her beloved Mariners and attempting to explain to anyone who will listen that neither the Tennessee Titans nor the Houston Texans are the same as the Houston Oilers (her favorite team of all time).
