2007-08: Earned first team All-American honors with a fifth-placed finish at the 20K classic race at the NCAA Championships... Earned second team All-American honors with eighth place finish at 10K skate race at NCAA's... Represented native Estonia in World Cup races in Alberta, Canada, where he placed 19th in the classic sprint: the highest Estonian finish of the Canmore World Cup stop... Recorded a team-best third place finish in the freestyle sprints at U.S. Senior Nationals... Placed in the collegiate top ten in each of his eight events this season, including two runner-up finishes in the 10K skate races at both NTN Trails and at regionals.. Finished season as CCSA's fourth-ranked skier... Named team's Teammate of the Year, and Dr. Wood Scholar-Athlete.

2006-07: Won CCSA championship in 15K classic, edging teammate Marius Korthauer for the top spot... Placed third in Mt. Itasca SuperTour 10K classic... Finished third in 15k classic at Telemark SuperTour... Tied for ninth in skate race at NorAM SuperTour.

Prior to Alaska: Finished 16th (out of 50 skiers) in the 15K classic event at the 2006 Estonian National Championships... Competed in the World Cup in Otepaeae, Estonia, on Jan. 6, 2006, placing 48th in the classical sprint.

Personal: Son of Tiia and Jaanus Teppan... Two siblings, Jaak and Tuuli... Enjoys soccer, orienteering and beach volleyball.
