Prior to Alaska: Skied four seasons with West Yellowstone High School... Finished 13th in 5K classic race at 2007 Junior Olympics... Placed 10th in classic sprints at 2008 junior nationals... Finished 20th at 2007 junior nationals... Also ran four seasons of track and played three years of volleyball for the Wolverines... Placed sixth in 100 meter hurdles in 2007 Montana state track meet... Set high school record for 300 hurdles as a sophomore with a time of 48:57.
