Prior to Alaska: Participated in four years of cross country running and cross country skiing at Dimond High School... Named the school's Team MVP for skiing in 2007... Was an All-American skier in 2007, and was All-State in skiing for 2006... Took 18th place at the Junior Nationals in 2007.
