Prior to Alaska : Played four seasons at Channelview High School.. Averaged 21 points, six boards, five assists and three steals while co-captaining the Falcons in his senior year... Named to the Division 5A All-District First Team in his senior year... Was a member of two District Championship teams in 2004-05, and a member of the Falcons' 5A State Championship side in 2003, when the team went undefeated (15-0)... Averaged 27.0 ppg in 2006 with his AAU team, including a 41-point performance at the AAU Nationals... Was a four-year letterwinner with the Channelview basketball team and a three-year letterman as a wide receiver for the football team.
