Prior to Alaska: Redshirted his freshman year at Western State College of Colorado... Played four seasons with Barrow High, where he helped the Whalers to four conference championships and two state title games... Averaged 22.0 ppg, 6.6 rpg and 7.8 apg his senior season, including a career-best 38 point, eight rebound game against Grace Christian... Named first team all-state, conference MVP and team MVP in 2006... Also named to the 2006 all-tournament teams at both the state and regional tournaments... Named first-team all-conference in 2005
