Alaska's Kari Reabold Earns Women's Basketball MVP Honors
In front of a crowd that included Senator Ted Stevens, Alaska guard Kari Reabold took home Most Valuable Player honors from the team's end-of-year banquet held at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge on Saturday. Reabold, who first took the court for Alaska in an 84-49 win over Rocky Mountain on Nov. 12, 2004, finishes her career with 1,143 points scored and 627 rebounds: good for 11th place and sixth place on the school's all-time records list, respectively. The University of Alaska Fairbanks Department of Athletics will hold its annual end-of-season All-Sports Banquet Friday, May 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Westmark Hotel in the Gold Room.
