2008-2009:Had a lifetime best in the 1000 free (10:55.87) at the meet against Shippensburg...Student Athlete Advisory Committee member...placed first in the 200 freestyle relay during a home dual meet against Lewis and Clark on October 11, 2008...placed third in the 1000 freestyle (11:05.15), 1650 freestyle (18:58.22) and 500 freestyle (5:25.66) during a home dual meet series against Drury Univeristy in October...achieved two lifetime bests in the 500 free (5:18.16) and the mile (18:28.12) and a season best time in the 200 free (1:58.41) in November during the Nike Cup in November in Long Beach, CA...placed third in the 1,000 freestyle(10:55.87)and 500 freestyle (5:31.64) on January 15, 2009 during a dual meet against Shippensburg, P.A...placed first in the 1,000 freestyle (11:19.63), 500 freestyle (5:25.20) and third in the 200 freesyle relay on January 20, 2009 during a dual meet against Lewis and Clark...placed second in the 1,000 freestyle, third in the 500 freestyle (5:25.08) and 1,650 freestyle during the last home meet series against Shippensburg, P.A...school record holder in the 800 freestyle relay (7:47.03) set at thePacific Coast Swim Conference Champ ionships in Long Beach, C.A.

2007-2008:Member of the 800 yd freestyle relay team that set a varsity record on February 13 at the PCSC Conference Championships with a time of 8:00.49...third place finish in the 1650 freestyle during a dual meet against Loyola Marymount University on October 21 in Fairbanks...personal Best in the 500 free (5:22.77) in November during the Nike Cup in Long Beach, CA.

Prior to Alaska:A four-time Junction City High School Most Valuable Player and individual District Champion...main events include the distance individual medleys and freestyle races...at the 2007 Oregon State Championships finished her high school career with a pair of top three finishes as she placed second in the 500-yd freestyle (5:34.16) and third in the 200-yd freestyle (2:02.73)...in addition to holding the school records in the girl's 500-yd and 200-yd freestyle and the 100-yd backstroke, set her prep career record time in the 200-yd freestyle at the 2006 OSAA State Championships with a second place finish in a time of 1:57.78, just one one-hundredth of a second off the winner.

Coach Lemley on Heidi:"Heidi is one of our most versatile swimmers with the ability to swim any stroke and any distance. Like last year, she's training for the distance freestyle events, though she's fully capable of swimming both IMs, the 200 breaststroke and 100 butterfly. She came from a very good age group team in Eugene and her technique is very good suggesting to me that she was always paying attention when her coach gave her feedback on her stroke mechanics. This year Heidi will be working on her 200 freestyle for speed work to help us out with our 800 free relay."
