FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Alaska Swimming made its debut and got a final tune-up before the start of the regular season Saturday, as the Gold team defeated the Blue team 105-95 at the Patty Center Pool.

Gold led Blue 90-86 heading into the final event of the day, the 400 meter freestyle relay, but Gold, composed of sophomore Jacqueline vanDriessche, junior Sam Zinsli, sophomore Kathryn Niemi, and freshman Sarah Rockwell, got to the wall first to secure the 10-point victory.
