2007 ... redshirted as a freshman.

Prior to Alaska... she was a four year middle hitter and post player for the Nome Beltz High School Nanooks ... she was a member of the Far North All-Conference team and was a team captain in 2006 ... she was also named the Nome Beltz Student Athlete of the Year (2006-07) ... she lived in Roseburg, Oregon for part of her high school career where she played with the Roseburg volleyball Club for two seasons.

Personal... daughter of Brian Wassmann and Lynn Fricke ... her parents are UAF athletics alumni as her dad played men's basketball (1989-90) and her mom played volleyball for the Nanooks ... she is the oldest sibling of eight with five sisters and two brothers ... majoring in mechanical engineering.
